Zoom camera inspection can typically inspect about 1600 meters in a shift, including manholes, compared to about 400 meters, not including manholes, using cctv equipment. Our truck mounted zoom camera has the capability of inspecting up to 50 meters of sewer line, depending upon pipe diameter. Infratech field crews use ESRI ARCVIEW GIS software during the survey. Information gathered can be used to build geographical mapping information with software such as ARCGIS. This provides a valuable tool for improving sewer system management and performance. To conduct water main leak detection, Infratech utilizes the Echologics Leakfinder RT, a PC based system employs advanced leak noise corelation technique, to poinpoint single, and multiple water leaks. Residual pipe thickness can also be measured by recording the various properties of different pipes and their relationship with sound wavelength.
